Our Story
Horizon Teaching was founded with a simple belief: every student deserves access to expert, personalised tuition — regardless of where they live. By working entirely online, we can bring high-quality teaching directly to students across the UK, without the limitations of geography.
We work with students from KS2 right through to A-Level, across a broad range of subjects. Whether a student needs to build confidence in the basics, close specific gaps before exams, or push for the top grades needed for a competitive university course, we tailor every session to their individual needs.
Our approach is straightforward: understand where the student is, identify exactly what's holding them back, and build a clear path forward. Every session is purposeful, structured and focused on measurable progress.

The process
How We Work
Initial Consultation
We start with a free conversation to understand the student's current level, goals and any specific challenges they're facing.
Tailored Plan
Based on the consultation, we put together a structured plan covering the topics to address, the pace of sessions and the resources we'll use.
Regular Sessions
Sessions are delivered online via video call, typically 60 minutes, with clear objectives for each one. Notes and resources are shared after every session.
Progress Reviews
We review progress regularly and adjust the plan as needed. Parents are kept informed throughout.
